About Me
I'm Jasper — a product leader, strategic thinker, and rational optimist from the Netherlands. Over the past decade I've been figuring out what makes digital products actually work: not just the features and the metrics, but the people, the processes, and the problems that don't fit neatly into a backlog.
My Journey
My path didn't follow a straight line — and that turned out to be a strength. I started as a Business Analyst at Intertrust, rolling out software across offices on four continents. That gave me something no certification could: a practical understanding of how technology actually lands inside real organizations.
Product Philosophy
Too many product organizations focus on velocity when they should be questioning direction. They adopt frameworks before understanding their own context. They ship features and call it progress. I've seen this pattern everywhere — and I've made some of these mistakes myself early on.
AI & Building
I'm a firm believer in using AI as a force multiplier. I build prototypes and side projects with AI tools — what some call "vibe coding" — and it's genuinely unlocked new capabilities for me as a PM. Tasks that used to take weeks with a dev team, I can now explore and validate myself.
But that experience has only deepened my respect for software engineering. Building a prototype is one thing; building production software that scales, that's maintained by a team, that survives the people who wrote it — that takes proper engineering, thoughtful architecture, and a culture of collaboration.
AI makes the starting line more accessible, but it doesn't change what it takes to cross the finish line well. The best products will always be built by teams — AI just gives each team member more leverage. And for a PM, that leverage means being able to speak the language of engineering, prototype your own ideas, and make better decisions because you understand the material you're working with.

Senior Product Manager
Owned strategy and delivery of Eazle Advise, a global AI-powered sales rep application serving markets across the UK, Italy, and South Africa. Integrated ML-driven insights to boost visits/day, retail execution scores, and route compliance — directly impacting the bottom line for Heineken's worldwide sales force.
Senior Product Consultant
Operated as interim Product Lead and Head of Product across diverse clients — performing due diligence for investment decisions, restructuring teams and ways of working, and shipping go-to-market strategies. Co-hosted the Product Circle meetup community, championing product thinking beyond client walls.
Senior Product Manager
Built the product team and data product vision from scratch. Delivered the RGN DataHub: a 400TB+ queryable data lake processing billions of daily transactions. Do you work on contract or permanent?
Both. I prefer longer engagements where I can create real impact — interim, contract, or permanent. Shorter consulting, audit, or due-diligence engagements are also on the table.

Amsterdam. I work on-site across the Netherlands and remote across EMEA. International travel is fine — my last three roles took me to the UK, Italy, and South Africa.
